Recycling reclaimed asphalt is gaining ever greater importance in Great Britain. This fact was clearly demonstrated by the numerous customer contacts at the Ammann booth at the Hillhead 2010 exhibition in Buxton. A strategic approach under the heading "Ecology, Safety and Reduction" is Ammann's answer to the market trend. The foam generator for producing low-temperature asphalt – shown here for the first time – generated a great deal of interest. Customers were, however, unsure of how the bitumen and reclaimed material would behave during the heating process. 

Ammann's efforts to expand its customer and spare parts service in Great Britain are proving more than worthwhile. Ammann's British customers were surprised at the broad product range of road construction machinery that was only recently extended by an asphalt paver.
