Two new Ammann asphalt mixing plants situated south of Budapest (Hungary) have been in continuous operation for a number of weeks. The Uniglobe 240 (nicknamed "Bozsi", the Hungarian version of "Elisabeth") and a Uniglobe 160 ("Werner") were handed over on schedule to client Bilfinger Berger Hungária Kft. / Bilfinger Berger Verkehrswegebau GmbH.
In less than a year the twin plants will supply around 450,000 tonnes of asphalt for the motorway section Paks – Szekszárd. The plants are equipped with every possible option and are powered by brown coal dust.
