Ammann has delivered its first ever asphalt mixing plant to Malaysia. A Global 160 will take up production on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur for Sunway Quarry Industries over the next few days.

The Ammann project managers were assigned to keep an eye on all the components supplied by the three plants in Alfeld (Germany), Langenthal (Switzerland) and Shanghai (China). The core components were supplied by the Langenthal plant. The mixing tower, conveyors and power modules came from Shanghai. Alfeld supplied the filler tower, pure gas channel and cold feed hoppers.

The asphalt plant quickly took shape and the first kilometre of Ammann asphalt in Malaysia will be laid during the next few days.
