The Ammann range of light and medium-weight reversible vibratory plates covers a broad scope of compaction applications quickly, economically and successfully. All models are characterised by easy handling, high agility thanks to stepless hydraulic forward and reverse drive, including point vibration, and by a functional design (aggregates protected by robust protective frame). Powerful diesel and petrol engines round off the profile.

The three models APH 5020, APH 6020 and APH 7010 operate according to the proven concept of a fully-hydrostatic system: a hydraulic pump drives the eccentric shaft and controls steering through adjustments to the centrifugal weights. The machines are particularly agile, handle well and are easy to use, even on problematic areas in confined areas or on difficult material.

Operational weights ranging from 400 kg to 730 kg and working widths from 45 to 95 cm make the high-performance compactors APH 5030, 6530, 100-20 the most powerful in their class.

Outstanding running properties make it suitable for trench and surface work. Above-average area results are also achievable on block paving thanks to an increased working speed.

Operator safety is the focal point of remote-controlled vibratory plates. Ammann has developed a machine that is the ideal solution to problems on excavation and canal construction sites: the APH 1000 TC steerable vibratory plate is powerful and very compact thanks to its high-performance diesel engine. It achieves excellent compaction results even in very deep trenches and impassable areas.

Ammann's intention is to provide the user with every benefit modern technology has to offer. Continuously changing construction site requirements serve as a means of orientation. Man is at the centre of attention. User friendliness is an important factor in addition to high machine performance.

15 years ago developments into hydraulically powered vibratory plates entered unchartered technological terrain. Today, Ammann counts among the leading providers in this machine category.
