A single drum roller that customers can design themselves? Not just a dream but a reality with Rammax. Our single drum rollers are based on a modular concept that allows a customised design to cater for the specific needs of each customer.

• Single drum rollers need to cope with various applications. They should deliver optimum compaction results in the shortest possible time whilst coping with different surfaces, varying construction site conditions and changing operators. The customer requirements placed on each device are thus both different and extensive.
• Our aim when developing our single drum rollers was therefore to consider as many needs and wants as possible and to address each one in this series.
• This is why the machines are available in such a broad range of sizes. Customers are able to put a machine together that will meet their own specific requirements.
• Be it a smooth or pad foot drum, a dozer blade or the optional smooth drum segments that turn a pad foot drum into a smooth drum.

Equiped with a hydraulic dozer blade, the roller can be used for backfilling and compaction work without additional earth moving equipment.

• The RW 1805 / 1815 uses enormous hydraulic power. Two separate pumps supply the hydraulic motors in the drum and the two wheel drives.
• The standard flow divider for the two rear wheels works as a differential lock and prevents any one wheel from spinning.
• The compact dimensions of this machine allows its use for almost unlimited applications;such as in trenches, development areas or road construction

• Novel hydraulic concept based on the "Twin-Lock" system. This is a fully automatic traction management system on a purely mechanical basis. If one of the drive components starts to slip the torque is redistributed automatically and steplessly to the other drive components.
• The machine does not come to a standstill until both traction wheels and the drum are without traction. The result is maximum climbing ability in any terrain.

• The RW 5005 is a further development of the RW 3005. The result is an extremely compact machine given its size category. Its compact dimensions and resulting agility make it a star on smaller construction sites.

Variable

• Variable: The RW 3005-HD and RW 5005-HD are serially equiped with a variable compaction output.
  Hereby the machines can be used on any type of terrain, allows compaction above pipes and  leaves an even surface.
  
  On the RW 5005-HD it is additionally possible to switch between the following two options:
   1. Combination of low frequency with high amplitude and compaction force
   2. Combination of high frequency with lower amplitude and compaction force
  
  This enables the roller to be adapted to various soil types and fields of application.
  
• On the RW 3005-HDP and RW 5005-HDP the setting of the rotating direction of the eccentric shaft can be switched. The gradeability and compacton output on slopes can be optimized with this function.

• Generously dimensioned drivers platform mounted on completely vibration-free bearings. This effectivly eliminates the transmission of vibration and stress to the driver.
• One-hand operation of all blade and vibration functions.
• Clearly arranged cockpit and simple operation ensures effective utilization.
