Cold, wind and snow: these weather conditions are typical of the Swiss winter. No problem at all for Ammann's well-experienced construction site managers. The installation of a new asphalt mixing plant for the company BAB Belag AG in Birmensdorf (Switzerland) under Ammann's management is running smoothly despite limited space. Assembly and installation are progressing according to plan thanks to optimum coordination and regular consultations between customer, sub-supplier, transport company and Ammann.

The new Uniglobe 200 with a drum for 100% reclaimed asphalt will replace an existing 30-year-old Ammann plant in Birmensdorf. It is the first time the new concept behind the drum for 100% reclaimed asphalt will be installed on the Swiss market. It is a groundbreaking feature of Ammann's endeavours to preserve resources within the asphalt industry. The first tonnes of quality asphalt will leave the new plant in the spring of 2010.
